What you’ll need:

• Straw
• Scissors

How to make a Straw Horn:

• Flatten straw on one end. Use your finger nail to flatten it really flat.
• Take your scissors and cut about 1/2″ on the top of the flat part into a triangular point.
• Be sure it isn’t stuck together.
• Put your mouth over the end, past the triangle.
• Blow really hard. It will honk like a goose.

The fatter and longer the straw, the lower the pitch. The shorter the straw, the higher the pitch. Try different straws and different lengths and make a straw horn band.
